Technical limitations prevent library systems from recognizing a patron as being equally associated with both the El Paso campus and another TTUHSC campus. All El Paso campus faculty, staff and students, including those with a dual association (see examples below) should use only the El Paso libraries for online library resources.

 Dual association examples:

  • A TTUHSC El Paso employee who is also a TTUHSC Lubbock distance student. The El Paso employee status overrides the Lubbock student status.
  • A Lubbock student while doing clinical rounds on the El Paso campus. The physical presence on the El Paso campus overrides the Lubbock student status.

IMPORTANT - Until the El Paso campus separation is completed, the following features in databases will not work for El Paso:

  • Database sharing tools such as EBSCO permalinks or Ovid jumpstarts
