NOTE - most professional healthcare research databases do not have a peer-review search filter.

To determine if an article is peer-reviewed you must determine if the journal which published it is a peer reviewed journal. The quickest way is to locate the journal's official web site.  If it is a peer-reviewed journal they will advertise it, usually under the "Information for Authors" or "About Us" section.
