Automated tools, such as the Check TTUHSC icon in PubMed and other databases are only partially successful in retrieving full-text (see technical details below). Before submitting an ILL request, we recommend the following:
- Install the LibKey Nomad extension for Google Chrome for increased instant access to full-text.
- As your final step before submitting and ILL request, manually search GoldRush by journal title to confirm our access.
- Some vendors and publishers do not support automatic article lookups, making it difficult for automated tools, such as the "Check TTUHSC" icon in PubMed and other databases, to locate an article. The LibKey Nomad extension for Google Chrome greatly increases the probability of gaining full-text access.
- GoldRush is the authority on TTUHSC journal subscriptions. Before submitting an ILL request, manually search Goldrush by journal title (not article title) to confirm TTUHSC access to the article.
