NOTE - one possible point of purchase for textbooks is the TTUHSC Bookstore.
Generally, the TTUHSC libraries do not add course required textbooks in print to the library collection either as a purchase or when offered as a donation.
- Some required-reading texts might be available electronically, but with a very low concurrent user limit.
- Some required-reading texts might be available open access.
The TTUHSC libraries acquire textbooks in print selectively for the collection if they have some long-term research value or study value, or if they cover a new or emerging discipline. In those cases when a textbook in print is acquired for the collection, only a single copy will be added without any implied commitment to acquire future editions of the textbook.
